Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆

+ 1 Phil.   Finally people are finding some clarity about the intentions and benefits of this well thought-out device. In 18 months I believe we will be seeing 1TB micro SD cards. Until then i'll happily live with 200GB which is a VFM bang for buck card IMO.   Apart from lack of 5GHz WiFi, I...

Chord Electronics - CES Launch Extravaganza

With subjectivity in play how can I answer that properly. I haven't heard Poly, or many of the other options for starters. Of course there are cheaper options, I'm not one of the many complaining of the price as such, although I can see why people are questioning what is considered an add-on...

Chord Electronics - CES Launch Extravaganza

+ 1.   For a cheaper solution. In fact there are many options given Poly's spec. I will be buying Poly to see how much it benefits me.    If I can have 1TB of music in my rucksack while traveling, and control the library easily, even better via my iWatch - it's a winner. Not cheap though...

Chord Electronics - CES Launch Extravaganza

Wireless external HDD, thus creating your own WiFi on the move? Have it stashed away in your rucksack and you can have 1-2TB of music at your mercy. This would be an option, and one I will strongly consider, unless I find 200GB is enough for me by means of an SD card.

Indeed. It would be nice if I can control it with my iWatch, which is what I currently do, and works very well I add.    Please put me down for one Phil. :)

I think they have overpriced this thing by £200, IMO. I will still buy one but i'm still thinking of ways i'll use it with Poly, see what I think, then see what the word is on the Hugo 2 and move from there. I use Mojo on the go most of the time but do have active speakers in most rooms of my...

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

I haven't read this thread in entirety, but as a techno head, a frequenter of Berghain. I see no reason why Noble Audio Dulce Bass cannot tick all the boxes if you want bass, done remarkably well. They're incredibly good and even put systems to shame. In fact they're so good, I don't feel the...

THE best female vocals? (your favorite female singers)

Angry ? - Lucinda Williams. Her accent kills me - in a good way, at least most of the time!

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

+1. Had mine several months and struggle to take them out of my ears. I have CIEM Encore being built and will report my findings. Will the Encore dig as deep as the Dulce Bass? That is the question. I am sure they will excel in every other dept, but honestly how can the bass get better? They're...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Listening/comparing the Dulce Bass with a Mojo and TT this evening. I was ready to part with the Mojo until I read the announcement by Chord. As such i'm holding onto it to see what it released.    Both combos are delightful and I must say, Noble are a brand i'll be sticking with. I have...

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

I will let you know. I see a pair of Gens in your pic. I dare suggest we have a very similar flavour when it comes to sound. I have the 8040 and love them. I have thought about upgrading but I think two gen subs would be a better move IMO.    Ditto on the Dulce Bass. I would guess they have...

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

Mojo is a dream with not only my HD25, but also my Noble Dulce Bass. Both are superb (Custom Encore ordered ;) ). Not many will buy into the HD25 combo but it rocks. That said, Noble is an improvement on them, especially in the bass department, but I cannot part with the HD25 - also great for...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I was struggling to get the red over the tips of my Ducle Bass but it is possible. Keep trying. the reds ended up giving me the best seal and sound.

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

glad i got my order in for the dulce bass before the hike. people should be complaining to the people that voted for Brexit. and, if Trump gets in, expect price increases in the US from Noble - he has all intentions of any contracting work outside the US (Noble using China for instance) to be...

[Review] Noble Audio Kaiser 10 - The Wizard Rises Again

Hahaha. Apologies, Katana! Nothing strange going on here I promise. I currently have Dulce, hence the side track but will be hearing both K10 and its evil brother Katana in November. I am seeking the bass of the Dulce. It's very very addictive.

[Review] Noble Audio Kaiser 10 - The Wizard Rises Again

Hi, thank you for your reply.   Both Audio Sactuary, and Aid2Hearing are superb personal companies to deal with. As a company owner myself I won't part with money unless I deem the transaction worthy. I procured the Dulce from Phil @ Audio Sanctuary and look forward to meeting Gisele in...

[Review] Noble Audio Kaiser 10 - The Wizard Rises Again

I hope you don't mind me side tracking a little here. I took delivery of the Dulce Bass earlier this week. I wanted to dip my toes into the world of Noble Audio with a mid priced set of IEMs to see what their sound is about. I've had se846, IE800, so nothing major but the latter did punch above...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I must have had over 10 various pressings/masterings of Aja, starting with the original CD which is good. But my go to is the 1st press US ABC Vinyl. If you drop me a PM, i'll happily guide you with how to "procure" one although it seems you have this album covered. Either way, the offer is...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

There are no rules, often mastering can be a matter of taste. I have kept a few copies of certain albums that sound great in their own unique way and until I know which i'm getting the most satisfaction from, and in which case i'll keep both.    Vinyl pressings are normally best from the...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Firstly i'm glad you like the K10. I'm starting with Dulce Bass for the gym and then move to CIEM K10 or Satana.    RE Hi Resolution files, I would strongly recommend this site below. My experience over the last few years since Hi Res Audio popped up is that dynamic range, regardless of...

Introducing the New Classic Universal Line from Noble

I will report my findings with the Dulce Bass in a few days. I am trying them with a bare iPhone 6S, Mojo and Hugo. I purchased them for the gym when I listen to my german techno.   Bought from Audio Sanctuary (were Custom Cables) in the UK. Great guys to deal with.    If I like them (they...

Ordered mine today, should have them next week and will report my findings with an iPhone 6S, and with the addition of a Chord Mojo/Hugo.   Very much looking forward to hearing what bass these things deliver given i'm a huge techno fan. I'm hoping to get that Funktion1 sound. Time will tell...

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Unless you do not have a single USB port, or maybe a PC that is 20 years old, there is no reason why you cannot use ANY of the DFs. This applies to the previous gens too !

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

What on earth are you talking about? Only now, have the recent Dragonfly DACs become mobile phone friendly.    You can plug any DF into ANY computer, be it PC or Mac, route the audio to it, and assuming you have headphones connected, you will hear sound. Mobile phones, are mini computers...
