I've had to send my UERM's in for a refitting, and couldn't be happier with the service and attentiveness I received.

I am on the fence of going (just not sure yet) but I think I will.   My setup(s)   Music Hall DAC w/Affordable Audio Mods (Balanced no tube output) Woo Audio 6 Sennheiser 650 Allesandro MS2 Ultimate Ears Reference Monitors 

If you don't feel like upgrading the tube, you can take advantage of the solid state DAC by buying XLR->RCA adapter cables, then plug into your amp.   Just utilize the DAC as solid state with the option of a tube output.  Sounds awesome without any tube in the way of the output path.

This was my first visit to RMAF.  The selection of equipment and audio experts in the CanJam section was superb.  I had a lot of fun listening to (almost) everything.  Thanks to Head-Fi for making this event happen, it really was an event.   Other than the plethora of audio nerdity available...

I thought the HD800's sounded fantastic out of my WooAudio 6 setup. Much more airy, and neutral than the HD650's. Really good for jazz/vocals/classical. So much more "real sounding" to my ears. The HD650's do have a much much warmer, more intimate sound to them. Comparably, the HD800's sound...
