Can't go wrong with the Brandenberg Concertos by J.S. Bach. I've probably listened them hundreds of times. Sound even better on vinyl!- Jonathan40

Anyone out there riding motorcycles?
Not yet! But I do have my eye on the Honda Shadow 600VLX. Fortunately they purr fairly quiet, so my headphones should be loud and clear.- Jonathan40

Best type of solder for audio quality
I use Kester 60/40, I believe. It's the "industry standard" as far as I know. I like a nice thin string of it for more control of solder volume.- Jonathan40

Keyboards?
The best keyboard I ever used came with my Compaq. It had the L and R sides split down the middle and angled to fit my hands ergonomically. Very comfortable to use.- Jonathan40

What computer speakers to get?
I tried the Bose Companion series at Best Buy a few months ago, and they sounded awesome. Just wish they weren't so pricey..I usually use whatever I find and replace the 1/8" stereo jack with a new one. They are tricky to solder, though - those wires are tiney!- Jonathan40

IMac vs Macbook(air/pro) for source
I've always preferred Macbooks, simply because of the portability. I'll lay down some tracks in my studio, then keep Logic running and bring it into my kitchen, plug it into speakers, and listen while I'm doing chores.- Jonathan40

Anyone use anything beside the stock flat pads for Grado HP 1000 Model HP2? I see them on the TTVJ website, but was wondering if there is a better alternative..- Jonathan40

Pictures of your computer rigs! Post them here!
I'm currently using an old Macbook, but I think it'd days are limited. Probably going to have to pick up a new Macbook Pro, as there are some recording projects coming up. For monitors, I use Event PS8 passive ones and an Alesis 150 watt stereo amp, and I also use a pair of KRK Rockit 8's. Gets...- Jonathan40
