Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
They are a really nice headphone. Hard to say what my exact price was. Paid $1500AU ($1167USD) for T90 Jubliee + Meier Audio Corda Jazz + Quad Link D1 DAC combo I ended up going back to the headphone shop today. Did not find a solution for the heat issue. They did mention that the DT990 earcups...- motion2082

Review by 'motion2082' on item 'Beyerdynamic T90 Premium Stereo Headphone'
I have owned these headphones for about a week. The sounds quality is great but I'm not sure if I can wear these longer than 1 hour. My ears get way too warm. Would love a bit more airflow.- motion2082

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
Tried the DT990s out today, they were super comfortable. Did not rate the SQ though Did not like the AKGs (K701,K712) they sit too close to your ear and the SQ is not great. The only option from the T90 is up, not down. So spend more $$$ for either the HD800 or T1. Think I may...- motion2082

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
Hey guys, Tossing up between taking my 4 day old T90 Jubilees back to the shop for a store credit. Still in the trial period. Got these on a combo special for $1.5k (have receipt) These sound amazing but I have large ears which keep touching the pads and result in discomfort after 30-50 mins...- motion2082

What Headphone doesnt warm up your ears?
This review mentions the Sony MA900 as well as being quite a good headphone for all round use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMbCXrFxhWY Problem I have now is, if I take the Beyerdynamic T90 Jubilee back to the store, all I will get is a store refund. The store does not give cash...- motion2082

What Headphone doesnt warm up your ears?
Seems to be a lot of good reports from AKG701 and AKG712 Pro owners Might be worth downgrading the T90s to get a little more depth in the cups- motion2082

What Headphone doesnt warm up your ears?
Thanks for that :) You're right about the comfort thing. Should have spent more time with akg k712 and hifiman in the shop. The t90s are great compared to my hd518, no ear sweat just a tad warm. Hd800 and akg812 is probably a bit more than I wanted to spend- motion2082

What Headphone doesnt warm up your ears?
I'm looking for long use comfort and awesome sound! The T90s are an Open Back Design but I agree they do feel like a closed design. What would be a good pair of open headphones with velour pads?- motion2082

What Headphone doesnt warm up your ears?
Hi Money4me The pads on my T90 Jubilees are Super-Soft Microfiber (according to the box) futher research seems to reveal they are Velour. http://www.kenrockwell.com/audio/beyer/t90.htm Earpads The earpads are covered with fuzzy velour. The pads ride around your ears, not touching...- motion2082

Q701/K701 are both a huge step down from the T90. I'm interested in comparing the K712 PRO against the T90 T90 sounds great with my AMP (Meier Audio Corda Jazz)- motion2082

AKG K812 Pro
Just saw the price of the K812 Pros ($1800 in OZ) Definitely not going to be dropping that much cash. What are you thoughts on the K712 Pro against the T90's?- motion2082

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
I have to agree here, the T90 is very bright. If you have a powerful amp you get the best results at a slightly lower dB I would love to try out the AKG K712 Pro and AT-AD2000X against the T90. Given that the ohms are lower on both these units, there is probably going to be a noticeable...- motion2082

I just received my Beyerdynamic T90 Jubilees today. They sound amazing with a Quad Link D1 DAC + Meier Audio Corda Jazz Amp. I actually have to turn the volume down they sound that good. There a couple of things I dislike though. I'm not sure if I'm being picky but the cans are a little...- motion2082
