hi there! looking for modern DAC (future proof ish) to pair with the monoprice liquid plat. I have used the JDS Element and while it sounds very nice, there is something going on with the software/drivers. Keep having errors. It could be that its 5 years old, no idea. love advice! thanks

so those are the two speakers I have experience with. Both and good. MM1 being a bit fuller and warmer and the audioengine a2+ have more "punch" (if that makes sense). currently using the a2+ mainly because the white matches my setup =) connected via usb. the sound as i said above is "good."...
