hi there! i have the jds element which i think is great price/performance but what can i step up to for the aelous? i feel like these cans deserve a bit more. some thoughts:

Astell L100 (why doesn't this piece of kit get more attention? seems pretty awesome)
burson play (just hate the looks)
auris euterbe (expensive but looks impressive and comes with stand)
Woo A11 (just kinda small and unimpressive looking)

what else am i missing? ideally i stay under $1500 for the unit

i dont want a sep amp and dac to keep my office desk looking clean as possible.

oh i also have a peachtree a300 amp for my speakers in the office i could use as well....

The only one of those I’ve heard is the A11 and thought it quite good but it was powering a pair of MySphere 3.2 . Should have enough power for the fairly efficient Aeolus.

Yes like @Monsterzero said you should probably ask in the Aeolus thread.

The consensus over there seems to be tubes are best for Aeolus. I wouldn't know about many tube amp/dac combos.
