excited for my first foray into "audiophile" headphones. I love good sound but never ventured deep into the dark world of cans. I was going to just go for the ZMF aelous but thought i would start with the LCD2 Classics.

I'll report back my noob thoughts on the cans and the amp/dac setup.

next month going to order the aelous and jds element to compare

so........not bad!

got the modi/magni + LCD2C running out of my computer playing Tidal Master/Hifi tracks. Honestly, very nice. Since this is my first "audiophile" headphone I don't know how good it is per se. But definitely pretty impressive.

I wish I could try and the ZMF aeolus to test to see if it's worth double the price.

I also will try the headphones with the Peachtree a300 nova later this week---doubtful much difference but will be interesting

any other headphones to recommend for a euphoric/less precise experience? thanks!
