Thank you very much for pointing it out, as I didn't noticed it since I was busy when it arrived, and excitedly opened it without reading thoroughly. I just reopened it as of post time, just as I read your replies. The whole moment was a lie. In the first place, I ordered the wrong item...- r0msk1

My LME49720HA just arrived and I was amazed by how RS (seller) packaged the item. From a 13x10x5in box to a <1cm item.- r0msk1

both can used as DAC. It's just that Walnut V2s has audible clicks/pops issue if you use so. No known solution at the moment. I ordered an op amp, arriving atleast next week, ill try if changing op amp will affect the issue. But overall and except it, no problem.- r0msk1

Thanks for that. Seems like it's safe for me to try my incoming LME49720HA, then sell device later (if decided) without affecting the audiogon scale. country?- r0msk1

I was really afraid that my question wasn't clear. I'm sorry for that. What I mean is, let me give a scenario then. You moved/replaced the stock op amp with OPA2604, then after you tried it, you reverted back to the stock. You sold it to me. Should I be able to recognize that you already had...- r0msk1

For those who've tried to switch op amps, is it noticeable that you changed it? I mean, the aesthetics? I mean, the scratches, etc. (Sorry, Im really not sure what words to use.) EDIT: You just posted while I was writing. May ask you the question above?- r0msk1

Windows 10 Pro x64 (desktop), it works. Windows 7 x64 (laptop), it works. On yosemite (laptop), it works. One problem, audible clicks/pops. Oh, so it was latency issue? I'm using Foobar, and tried WASAPI and ASIO components to no avail.- r0msk1

Foobar is what I use. I installed those components as you said but it is still there. Normal - pc side or walnut's? I don't think so. Will try more troubleshooting tomorrow.- r0msk1

Do this, let's just try: Turn your Z1 ON first. Pause. Insert USB cable. I assume you're doing otherwise. V2s, on the other hand, can't be detected as DAC when you first insert cable, and pause. and btw, I have to share that my V2s as dac has audible pops/clicks/cracklings (or whatever you...- r0msk1

I tried V2s as DAC on windows and mac, sadly, there's a lot of audible pops/clicks/cracklings (or whatever you call it), otherwise it was good. Tried three cables, including stock, but still there.- r0msk1

as an amp, audio jack. as a dac, usb. I haven't played with my V2s yet, I just received mine 16 hrs ago, and just tried playing for about an hour. They said Walnut V2 upgraded has DAC but meh; V2s has DAC, but I haven't tried it yet personally.- r0msk1

Technically, no. I am from Bukidnon. I will wait for your advice then. I haven't played with my ZST yet, as I just received my V2s and monks+ yesterday (16hrs ago as of post) and I'm spending the past few hours (accumulated 1hr+) testing. And by the way, I was in this thread for Z1 vs V2s...- r0msk1
