Hard to tell the scale on that graph, is that a 4 db bass boost which should work fine, or 20 which would be a mess?- HerrXRDS

Zero Audio ZH-DWX10 DUOZA dual dynamic driver iem
What other recent IEMs do you have in the $150 range to compare them with? I have the regular Duoza and I don't think they are that good. I' d be courious to see how these compare to the original Duoza or other iems in that price range.- HerrXRDS

Tripowin TC-01Universal IEM $49.00
That's like your opinion. For me the Blon 03 has a much more enjoyable and natural tonality while 01 just another average IEM with a weird tonality and unatural midrange. It already went into the retired drawer while 03 is still in daily rotation along with $300-400 IEMs.- HerrXRDS

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I'm also using normal. I can hear the bass when there's not much around it, but if I listen to metal or busy tracks, drums and other instruments will drown it too much for my taste. For example I was just listening to this and the notes are clear on some other sets, not so much on Buds Pro...- HerrXRDS

Q701 impressions thread
Basically used this guide https://imgur.com/a/gs0cRAB? , you don't need to remove the driver to access the gimble joints, though it is a lot easier to access if you desolder at least one wire from the headband. Use only plastic safe lube, silicone, PTFE etc. I had some plastic gearing lubricant...- HerrXRDS

Q701 impressions thread
Today I breathe new life into my old Q701 that I haven't used in years. Actually, I never used it much other than gaming. The sound was good but the uncomfortable bumps and constant cracking at every move made me want to pick any of my other headphones over it. Took it apart and used plastic...- HerrXRDS

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Eager to hear how you think Buds Pro compares to Elite 85t. Other than the fact I find the Buds Pro a bit sibilant, another thing I think they don't do too well, is pulling you into the music. Like how when I so something while listening to Sony N3 for example and find myself more often getting...- HerrXRDS

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
This is my experience too. After a few days of owning them I got to the point I now dread having to listen to any song with female vocals on it, the sibilance is just so grating. A shame cause everything else is almost perfect, they fit great, they don't sound congested as other TWS I've tried...- HerrXRDS

Blon in ear monitors impressions thread
Samsung AKG that came with the S10 phone if you can find an original pair. Easy to drive, good sound balance, big bass, better details and best soundstage. Found them better than both Blons or Final. If you want only one pair for both music and games, get the 03. Best for music and easier to...- HerrXRDS

Blon in ear monitors impressions thread
BL-01 are really good, I was surprised tonight when I took them to the gym to listen after previously auditioning the Sony N3 at home. they didn't feel much of a downgrade and they are pretty similar in sound signature too. Definitely much better than the Tripowin TC01 I took to the gym...- HerrXRDS

Tripowin TC-01Universal IEM $49.00
Got mine. First impressions, there is some glare and slight sibilance, highs are kind of unrefined, bass has enough quantity but lacks impact making drum hits pretty uneventful. Also sound is too in your head for my liking. All in all, another generic $50 IEM with nothing special about it, I...- HerrXRDS

After having just sent a $350 IEM back to China twice now in a process that took over half a year now just to receive another one with problems from a major seller I am done. I'm taking the loss and never buying another ChiFi unless it's sold by Amazon with extra protection plan.- HerrXRDS

Intime SORA: Giant killer IEMs from Japan?
Any driver flex on these? I only have the Sora Light 2019 and I like the sound, but the driver flex is so bad I can't listen to them at all, at the slightest move of the jaw or even head the sound drastically changes.- HerrXRDS

Sony XBA-A3 - Impressions Thread
There are a few that have similar sound signatures. For example ISN N40 is pretty close to N3. Problem is nothing I've tried in that price range managed to get even close to the build quality, form factor and sound of N3. I don't know why I keep spending thousands on chi fi when i could've got...- HerrXRDS

Less bass than FH3? Glad I waited for the reviews. Still waiting for Fiio to come out with another IEM that does bass as well as the FH5 but with better tonality. That bass was spectacular.- HerrXRDS
