New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
Same. Was looking for more upper range and someone suggested the silicone tips, but the isolation is abysmal with those.- AmbiguousRule

Alclair Audio Curve Review by mark2410
Compared to the SE215, would you say they have less overwhelming bass? I find the Shures to be a bit too bassy at times, so how would you recommend this as an upgrade?- AmbiguousRule

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
The non-detachable cable is ruining it for me, sorry. I've been through too many earphones and IEMs that died due to the cable.- AmbiguousRule

Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Sound Quality
Have you tried Viper4Android or AudioFX on the S6? Root is available, so the SQ can change quite a bit.- AmbiguousRule

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
Regular Yep, switching back to foam for the awesome isolation. Budget is around $300 CAD (darn US products are like $200 more in Canadian dollars).- AmbiguousRule

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
I tried all 3 silicone tips, and the isolation just doesn't cut. I'll have to stick with the foams and a toned down EQ. Any recommendations on future IEMs that don't have too much bass bleed-in, yet decent bass response?- AmbiguousRule

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
I seem to be one of the few that are experiencing really overpowering bass in R&B and hip-hop songs. It's to the point where the vocals are so overwhelmed, I have to EQ to bass reducer. Which one would be better to reduce the bass, foam or silicone tips? I'm using the foam tips for better...- AmbiguousRule

IEM Recommendations for K-R&B, K-hip-hop, and K-pop
So I've EQ'd the 8khz and 16khz frequencies up 6 dB, and the vocals seem to balance out the drums and such. Is there any IEM that can match a similar sound (detachable cable is a must)? Also, a question for audiophiles, if the instrumental, let's say drums, overpower the vocals, would it be...- AmbiguousRule

IEM Recommendations for K-R&B, K-hip-hop, and K-pop
Only a few of them in the $200 range have detachable cables, and I already knew of them. The SE215s are natural sounding, correct? So how big is the difference between a natural sounding IEM compared to a neutral IEM (e.g. Westone W20/30)?- AmbiguousRule

IEM Recommendations for K-R&B, K-hip-hop, and K-pop
I'm currently using a pair of Shure SE215s and I'm looking to upgrade in the next year or so. My budget is around $200-$250, maybe $300 tops. I'm okay with how the Shures sound right now, but I'm unsure if the sound signature is something I like, as there are some things I have noticed in some...- AmbiguousRule
