@Ripvanlink Actually I'm still looking after my grandpa's AR3 pair of loudspeakers, which was purchased in 1967. Awesome pair if you are a jazz/blues lover.- peacewalker215

Audeze Deckard - class A amp, USB DAC
Luckily I had the opportunity to hear Lyr 2/Bifrost combo before Deckard. However I've just play music on Deckard on 2 hours only so this impression is purely early and unfinished. When Lyr 2 with 6BZ7 stock tubes offers a full bodied bass and marvelous high range, Deckard tends to play...- peacewalker215

TTPOD T2 Hybrid iems
Agree, I just tested a few jazz and vocal tracks when I'm sober. Seems like testing a brand new pair when drunk with trance and EDM is such a waste of a good hybrid pair.- peacewalker215

Still the low impact but nice sub bass feeling if you have heard the T1 in the past (not the T1E), but this one has dramatic improvements in mid and high, both in details and the precision so far :D- peacewalker215

Good luck with that, I'll have one to try as well. You sir, you just made me nervous as hell. Time to go back to the V5 for testing. The shop has called me and I'm on the way to get my own pair.- peacewalker215

I can say you're yet another victim of "company statement". TTPOD revamped the 2-month-old T1 since the feedback are not as good as expected. People need musical feeling (not sure if I'm using the right words) rather than dry, over-detailed sound of the T1. Thus the T1E rolled out. And by...- peacewalker215

Me? My personal preference 'thinks' T1 suits better for me than T1-E since I like bright headphone more than many bassy, warm and laidback pairs. Oh if that is, you'll find the sub bass in T1 even more amazing.- peacewalker215

Unlike the original T1, I find the T1-E lack the low bass, but the mid bass are warmer and more present than the previous one. Or maybe the mid bass just outpowered the sub in many ways.- peacewalker215

For the buck, the IS-1 should be a good one. But right now in cheap range I'm hearing shops' rumors about the new IEM from creators of Moxpad X3 called Rovking V5 which will be priced at about $30. Will be able to get one by Friday.- peacewalker215

Not a slight difficulty at all. Generally headphones with <32 Ohm impedance are easily be driven with mobile source such as iPhone. This one is 12 Ohm, and after 3 month using, I think it's safe to say that if you plug it into some amp, you can only hear things louder and harmful to ears, not...- peacewalker215

Yeah, this is for the sake of variety, tyvm :D I mentioned that I heard the B3 only for an hour since some shop just got that one and invited me to go there testing the new IEM, so better be someone familiar with that who will give out the recommendations :D I should take back my T1E to...- peacewalker215

If i'm not mistaken, which I can really be since I listened to the B3 only a few hours, yiu can call the B3 as the 'bright edition' of IE80 judging by the shape of the earpieces. However there are two things I dont like about that one: The sub bass cannot do as well as the T1, and it...- peacewalker215

As I said earlier, I prefer the older T1 sinve I love the bright tone headphones, just like the good oldie HD545. You can conpare the T1 between T1E base on the amount of bass they have. T1 is mainly awesome in sub bass, but unfortunately it got recessed mid bass which can add color into some...- peacewalker215

Here is mine. Lend my friend the T1E since he loves the sound so much just as I love the T1. As a new member, I can't post links yet, so please pardon: And besides the T1 is a pair of IE800, just for comparison in size. Many people told me the T1 and T1E look just like the IE800. Ywah this is the T1E, not the T1. You can figure out differences between T1 and T1E by the box. T1E: smaller, black with a shade of blue box, and T1: big yellow box. Beside that and few distictive color, only few can call out T1 and T1E if havent heard them first. Currently I'm using the T1...- peacewalker215
