Sennheiser HD650/HD800 + WooAudio WA7 OR Schiit Valhalla 2 & Schiit Bifrost
I was in the same situation some months ago as you are now. Also wanting a high-end headphone with amp and dac that would have great pairing with multiple headphones. After having owned the Alpha Primes and now the HD800 I think I'm gonna stick with the HD800 as long as I did 8 years with...- Souljacker

Sennheiser HD650/HD800 + WooAudio WA7 OR Schiit Valhalla 2 & Schiit Bifrost
I just ordered the Valhalla 2 for the HD800 based on recommendations. I suggest you get the Schiit stack and if you would buy an LCD-2f add an Asgard 2 to the stack. The Audeze's benefit from a good ss amp.- Souljacker

Dutch Headphone Meet 2014 (Germans & Belgians welcome!)
I'm also in for a meet, would like it to be between Antwerp and Amsterdam. Dependable on the amount of participants: First make a decision where it would take place (based on a poll of major cities), then a date (based on another poll) and make someone responsible for the meeting...- Souljacker

MrSpeakers Alpha PRIME: Impressions and Discussion Thread
I've got a nice delivery today. Alpha Prime, Lyr 2 and Bifrost Uber. First impressions are very good and it will be a very short night of sleep. AP vs HD 595 AP: more detail and clearer sounding, better separation, better bass impact HD 595: more comfortable but probably many headphones...- Souljacker

Non-PC Source for USB Dac?
The AudioEngine APT-X BT is very interesting. Only thing is that I now never use a tablet. So would a dap with a digital output make more sense? Are there players with digital outputs?- Souljacker

Non-PC Source for USB Dac?
I'm kind of in the same situation, wanting a source next to my chair to pair with amp/dac (input usb or optical). Sony HAP-S1/S seems interesting but too expensive, want something max $500.- Souljacker

I was first also thinking about ordering from the US because of the dollar to euro conversion. But if I should pay 21% VAT and customs clearance the price would be higher than ordering from The Netherlands. Also got a reduction of 80 euro on the official price.- Souljacker

MrSpeakers Alpha PRIME: Impressions and Discussion Thread
After reading those great impressions I'm taking a step into the unknown and buying the AP. This will be an upgrade from my current HD595 I've got for years. What would be a good amp/dac setup for the AP with a budget around $800. asgard 2/bifrost combo NFB-28 or (with cable...- Souljacker
