Of the three headphones I have (1) Oppo PM-1, (2) Senn HD 650 and (3) Senn HD 280 Pro, the PM-1's are the most comfortable hands down.

I bought the OPPO PM1's and also the Lyr headphone amp.  Prior to that I had a set of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, which I still have and use when I'm on my Airdyne.

I have had the PM1 for over a month and I am of the group that doesn't agree with you.  I feel like with other OPPO products I have, 105, BDP83, etc., I have received great value for my money.  I just wish I had known the 105D was coming before I bought the 105.

Oppo PM-1 Senn 280H

I was referencing the comfort factor.  I don't like using the following word because it implies I've arrived at an absolute, but the "Consensus" seems to be that the PM-1's are more comfortable than most for long term listening, weight, padding, etc.

The more comparisons I read the more I'm glad I've purchased the PM-1.  I like the fact I can go for multi-hour listening in comfort versus an hour or less in pain.  The lyr, the OPPO 105 and even my Pioneer Elite 94Txh are more than enough power for me for many multi-hour listening.

I am a proud PM-1 owner and in some sense I have to agree with the person who was fed up with all the negativity.  I am fairly new to the higher end of headphones (don't want this to be mis-interpreted by the nay sayers) and new to this site.  People do have a right to their opinion and...

"Where can you buy an Oppo PM-1? You can't add it to cart on Oppo's official website."   I bought my PM-1 directly from OPPO by calling.  They weren't taking AMEX online and they were if you called.
