Looking to drive Hifiman HE 400i primarily but also Grado SR 80i, Beyerdynamic DT 1350s. Which of these would be the best? Currently have the fiio e09k but its high output impedance seems not ideal for my current cans. Also considering getting HD 6x0s down the line.   Cheers

I'm looking to upgrade my primary listening cans (Senn HD 558).   Budget is around $200 (new or used) but I am open to expanding that if advice says it's really worth it.   I tried to get in on the HD 6xx drop so I'm considering the HD 600/650 but am also looking at the Hifiman HE 400s.  ...

thanks for your help guys. My dap (x3)does support channel balancing. However, changing it does nothing. So the driver must be blown? It still plays music but super quietly.

I loved my KC06A but it has recently developed a channel imbalance in the right side. Anyone have ideas for solutions?

A surprisingly good album is the Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett duet album. Also a favorite is the Dave Brubeck Quartet's Take Five album. For swing, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway and Buddy Rich can't be beat. Also some Maynard Ferguson is fun to throw in

As a fellow HD 558 owner, I can say that the clamping force does lighten up after a week or so. It was a little too tight for me at first too but after a week they loosened up and disappear on my head
