My M900 just came in. Haven't compared it to my Benchmark DAC2 HGC yet, but the sound quality of the M900 is definitely good when operating 'just' USB-powered by my macbook. I like it right away!!

My thoughts exactly. I now am convinced that I used to overestimate my hearing capabilities as a measuring device. Focal clear is a highly senditive low impedance headphone. Headphones don’t get much easier to drive than these. I auditioned Clear with my AK70. Sounded great!

Thnx for the clarification Piotr. Yesterday I ordered this small soft rubber case. The idea is to put them in there before putting the rubber case in the pelicase on top of the AK70. I hope it fits so everything is tied up n in there nice 'n tight :)
