Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Haha I have no desire to go any smaller than the coaster. I'll leave those smaller parts to the robots as my eyes are barely good enough for this project.- JustinDT

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Hi all, Started on my coaster amp today. Attached gives a good representation of the size of the components. They are very small.- JustinDT

What a long, strange trip it's been -- (Robert Hunter)
Considering that article was written in 2010, it's probably reasonable to assume it doesn't apply anymore. But you should transfer a single record with all three sample rates and listen to them and pick the best sounding one. Nothing wrong with playing around to see what sounds the best.- JustinDT

The standalone motor is interesting. Wonder if that's part of the design or part of the r&d. Doesn't matter really, looks great to me.- JustinDT

Win a SUSVARA
I have always been interested in the HIFIMAN headphones. I currently only have the HE-350 and I love the sound signature of it. It would be pretty amazing to go from the entry level to the TOTL headphone.- JustinDT

"Millett Hybrid" redux: NuHybrid headphone amp, using the Korg Nutube
Just finished putting together a NuHybrid and it sounds amazing but I do have an issue. It sounds as if the gain is incredibly high, had to switch from my ethers to my DT 770 250 Ohms just to get a listenable level. The only part different from the BOM is the TKD pot. I looked over the solder...- JustinDT

Bifrost Multibit vs Gungnir Multibit
I am looking at upgrading from the Bifrost Multibit to the Gungnir Multibit. The biggest question I have is the Gungnir as loud as the Bifrost when switching between sampling rates? Any thoughts on whether or not this is a worthy upgrade or would it be a small upgrade? Thanks- JustinDT

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I have extremely efficient speakers and I don't need 100 watts to power them. Not many people build good/adorable solid state amps (not integrated amps) below 100 watts. I'm talking in the 30-45w range. That's what I dislike the most.- JustinDT

This may be approaching heresy but I've started to prefer Tawny Port wines over my old favorite Scotch, Lagavulin.- JustinDT

Oppo HA-1 vs Woo Audio WA7
I assumed not many people have been able to listen to both. Was more looking for people's opinions of them. I've read through some of the Amp sub section articles. As for cans: LCD-2 and HD 650. Edit: I am thinking about selling the LCD-2s. More than likely the HD 650s will be the ones I...- JustinDT

Oppo HA-1 vs Woo Audio WA7
I am trying to decide between the Oppo HA-1 and the Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies. Both cost around the same. The HA-1 has more features but I am leaning towards the WA7 Fireflies. Any thoughts about these two amps would be great!- JustinDT

HD 598 vs HD 600/650
The LCD-2s are right under the $1k mark. I'm going to post them for sale on here in a couple of weeks. I want to make sure I won't miss them if I sell them. That's interesting. If that is the case then I might not need to upgrade to the 650s at all. Thank you for your service btw.- JustinDT
