SOL Republic cable - plug configuration
Hello, does anyone know where which signal is on a SOL Republic cable? They use dual 2.5mm stereo jacks. I wonder if I can use them with my Audioquest Nighthawk, which has dual 2.5mm mono jacks. Is the right signal on the tip on a SOL Repbulic cable?- SSSN

"Pretty" alternative to the Objective 2?
I love the Objective 2 and the way NwAvGuy approached his design. I'm a measurement geek. What amp measures just as well, but is prettier than the O2? I don't like the mushy in- and output jacks nor the volume pot. Just doesn't feel premium. The amp should be compatible to HD650s but also BA...- SSSN

IEM with slight (!) V-shaped sound
Hello I am looking for an IEM with a slightly V-shaped frequency response. I do not want really strong bass or sizzling highs, just a natural weight to bass and sparkle up top. I like slightly emphasized female vocals. I also need good noise isolation. Price: up to 400€ (Germany) ...- SSSN

Bassy or V-shaped and well-isolating IEM for up to $300
I need a bassy or V-shaped IEM which isolate well. Already tried the SE215, but it's too honky in the mids for me. I really liked the Dunu DN-1000, but they were very uncomfortable.- SSSN

A more comfortable alternative to the Dunu DN-1000
I used to own the Dunu DN-1000 and loved their sound, but they hurt my ears and were uncomfortable. I really wanted to love them, I tried countless combinations of tips and spacers, but it was no use. Now I'm looking for an IEM that has a similar sound signature (bass slam!), similar...- SSSN

DAC/amp for Fidelio X2 - Europe
Looking for a DAC/amp to replace my Fiio E10 Olympus with. It pops and hisses too much. Basically: - Low output impedance - No pops or hisses due to some stupid digital silence / energy save modes - Shouldn't fail on me (SMSL...) - Domestic shopping (Europe) preferred I've heard mixed...- SSSN

IEM under 100€ (Fidelio S1?)
I already owned the Soundmagic E10 before but they broke and I got a refund. The only real issue I had was the slightly dull treble and it sounding kinda "uneven" and "scratchy". Now I saw that Tyll of innerfidelity really likes the Fidelio S1 and I trust Tyll, his impressions virtually always...- SSSN

DT 990 Pro broken, will probably get my money back, alternatives?
I will use the cans with a Fiio E10 on my PC. I listen mainly to Metal, Rock and instrumental soundtracks (video games, movies, Anime). My budget is about the same as I paid for the DT 990s: $200 (or 145€) give or take. As far as sound goes, I was content with the DT 990s, although the...- SSSN

Fiio E10 - gold-plated jacks and no mention of "Olympus"?
Hello, I've ordered an E10 explicitly described as "Olympus" from Accessoryjack and after concerns about genuinity, I wrote them an email. Is a Xonar DG(X) worth it for a Superlux 681 ?
Hello, I recently upgraded to a Superlux HD681 from a generic gamer headset and I'm pretty impressed so far. However, I am still using onboard sound (ALC892 on an AsRock B75-Pro3-M). Would a DG(X) be a noticeable upgrade? I'd say I'm 70% gaming and 30% music. As far as music goes it's mostly...- SSSN
