Currently have the Soundmagic. Would the Shure be a good upgrade sound-wise?

Well they're very different, e10 are v shaped with a bunch of bass and a bunch of treble. The shures have a more mellow sound that emphasizes bass and mids with a smooth and lower in levek treble. Differences aside, yes it's a better headphone, but might be too different to properly call it an upgrade. I'd suggest the Yamaha EPH100 around that $100 price point
