initial impression while auditioning at canjam was it’s bright and hash. some will like this type of sound. change wind to use OCC and everything else calms down. u can try this.

visited Fatfreq and glad to see guys! also found BQEYZ - Wind an interesting IEM with hybrid dynamic and bone conduction. did not expect how it sounded so much so i got one. Quentin cable sounds fab!

Yep, purchased this last Friday after testing. Quite some stuff going on. Did try Roon on it, works well. I tried the Cayin N7. Sound wise, its nicer, but interface wise, R6 pro is far ahead. N7 is huge too and not really portable, therefore ended up buying the R6 Pro.

will go test it. i am considering between my Poly Mojo pair and should i get a stand-alone DAP. my issue is lot are android and most are outdated android which have issues.

you can try the cable on your GM at Zeppelin. just bring your DAP along.

had just received NightJar Midnight cable for GM. it has an unreal unboxing experience and well made cable. kudos that this is a local SG company doing this. yep, as you see the solid wood box that has cushion for the cables… as for listening, even not ran in, i already like the bass...

wow, that sounds bad… it is also on the pricier side? for me, hiss and high noise floor is a no no. that is why i went for chord which is really dark background on IEMs, even using hugo2. thanks for your honest feedback!

Size matters for Alza. I had M for crystal and everything goes off for my GM. Once I change to MS all came back! Interestingly it has better highs..

went over Fatfreq last Sat evening to try to purchase blue module. unfortunately came back empty handed. not sure when will the stock be available.

Tried Plussound X8 copper. Doesn't fly for me. Tried NightJar Acoustics - Midnight.. This one rocks on GM. Tightens and cleans up the bass while the top and mid ends not touched. Mid seems more separated and forward.

Thanks! Now looking at Fatfreq upgrade cable. Likely to drop by today to get the blue module and the upgrade cable EDIT: I just realized stock GM is Silver plated Copper. I will try out the full copper instead (Plussound) later. Definitely will drop by Fatfreq to get the blue control module.

Sapele Interestingly, with Silver, Max sound ok. I will get Crystal in the right size and test again. On the current Crystal, instruments and vocal sounds more distinct (seperate). However, bass is missing. Suspect the crystal is a bit longer (8.8mm) Whereas Max is 7.2mm.
