    Did not try them but they have a great reputation although they are different category cans. Fx3x are for bassheads E10 are more Balanced.

    It is  always better  to wire your cans with  a  better and thicker gauge cable.

    I have check what you said and it looks like there  is two  ways   One is that   it haves a knot inside the can or its glued deeper or both. I try to pull the cable but it would   not  move at all. So again they feel very sturdy

    I believe FX3X. They totally sound like much more expensive and for sure they have what you ask. But be sure you buy originals.

    Yes. I did that to the first pair and they sound like honey now. I forgot to mention before that i  use them with cowon S9 and they pair great  together
