I just ordered the 3X from UK also, great price look genuine orginal packaging, speedy delivery promised.  looking forward after burn to compare them with BASSOS.
i generally love, like JSnuts the JVC (and ATH) sound. these seem like they might be a sleeper after extensive burn in...yow,

I have used them for  1 hour. The  bass is deep and clean. Mids good too. And for bass heavy cans the highs are realy great too. I believe they need some breaking time. Im very pleased with them.

Be careful fakes are everywhere, although I can't tell you how the knock-offs actually sound. Build quality not there. See post. http://www.head-fi.org/t/686577/fake-jvc-fx3x-pictures#post_9902854

yow. Im planning to buy new pair of in-ear headphones and i'm thinking about getting these FX3X. Are these the best earphones under $30? I love my Sennheiser IE8 because of its sound clarity and decent bass BUT i don't like its over-the-ear cables which easily breaks. So are there any earphones you can recommend for me with decent clarity and bass?
