Two Budget Kings: Superlux 681 evo vs Samson sr850 (Similar to Superlux 668b but with headband)
After nearly a year the adjusting thing in my EVO's broke, they still work but they are little more uncomfortable, so whom ever wants to buy them beware of this detail.- Felixote

How about Superlux 662F, it has a nice flat response ideal for studio and it's closed, look at this review: "The more i use the HD-662F the more i like them... these are the best cans i have found for tracking, the natural balance makes it easy to hear detail and the bass and guitar can...- Felixote

Takstar Hi2050 vs Samson sr950
They both have velour pads and are around the same price. I know that one is open and one is closed but still I would like to hear the opinions of someone how's had them. I've had experince with open headphones (Sony MDR-XD200) and I liked them, but also with closed ( Superlux 651). I liked the...- Felixote

Samson sr950 vs sr850
Yeah I think I'm gonna take the risk and buy them. I know they are good but I want them to be better than the Sony MDR-XD200 that I have right now. I hope the extra spendig is worth it. And I do like the velour pads it comes with, all the superlux reviews say that it's nearly mandatory to buy...- Felixote

Samson sr950 vs sr850
I only want to know if they are worth the extra $15 bucks or $20 ( $40 and $60): I haven't seen any reviews in head-fi of the 950's but they seem better than the 850's, more comfortable and better sounding. Thank You Felixote- Felixote

IEM's that sound like headphones?
Thank You for the answers, I decided not to buy new IEM's but rather buy some new headphones, the ones that I have right now are crap ( Sony MDR-XD200, i like them but reviews say that the ones i'm thinking of buying are much better) Now i'm gonna open a new thread to help me choose the right...- Felixote

IEM's that sound like headphones?
Like the title says i would like to know if that's possible or if it is something exclusive of over-ear headphones. What i mean when I say "that sound" is the effect that headphones produce that is like if you were "live". For example I have the VSonic GR99 and the Sony MDR-XD200, when I switch...- Felixote

Why didn't Superlux 668 sound that good?
If you check out Superlux 668 reviews in head-fi, they all say that they are one of the best bugdet headphones, and that they are very balanced, but that they are uncomfortable, thing that i did notice. In the other hand if you read Sony XD200 reviews they seem like crappy headphones that aren't...- Felixote
