http://hifimediy.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=124 Found this baby, I think I will be ordering it with the FiiO for sure :) I don't need to go around looking for a cable that connects my S3 and the DAC anymore. Thanks for all your help!- IcarusW

iBasso D-Zero or Fiio E11 with a seperate DAC?
Quote: I heard the type of USB that connects to the device determines whether it will work or not, and I am pretty positive that wit will work, but it never hurts to double check! Thanks for your input.- IcarusW

iBasso D-Zero or Fiio E11 with a seperate DAC?
Thanks for the reply guys, I thought this thread was dead :P The HifimeDIY has the exact same hardware as the StonerAcoustics UD-100, which was reported working with the Galaxy S3, So they shouldn't have any problems. And Cel, does your Note 2 happen to be a European or Asian...- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
BEWARE of Aliexpress... I've been doing some research on the website, and it seems like the website's vendors are half scammers. Aliexpress themselves side with the suppliers when dispute arises, and many haven't gotten their money back. I advise you do NOT use the website, unless...- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
If the current usage is linear, the battery will last twice as long and charge for twice as long. But, I do doubt the advertised 2050mAh and I'm not sure the current usage is linear or not. Either way, it should last at least x1.5 longer. The battery will charge in the FiiO E11.- IcarusW

Tiny DAC, Big Sound, Evolved – Stoner Acoustics UD100 / UD110 / UD120
I've had a response from StoneAcoustics via Facebook Messenger today. It seems like he has stopped making the UD100, but will reveal the UD110 soon. Nothing is concrete though.- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
That's the default rating for the E11. It should be fine, unless you really want extended battery life. I found mine on http://www.aliexpress.com/ I figured if the advertised rating is 1900 mAh, the actual capacity couldn't be worse than the default battery. By the way, buying an extra...- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
Well if the advertised value of it happens to be true, the higher, the better, as it lasts longer. I ordered my E11 with 1900 mA rating, even though I doubt the actual value is equal to 1900.- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
Quote: The battery name (or so to say) is BL-5B. As long as the batter is listed under that name, it will function with the Fiio E11.- IcarusW

iBasso D-Zero or Fiio E11 with a seperate DAC?
Hello Headfiers, this is my first post I know this is about Amps and DACs, but I was told to post here first. I've been reading lots of threads in Head-Fi and I finally decided it was time to join. I started my audio equipment obsession with the Soundmagic HP-100's a few weeks ago...- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
Quote: I'm not sure about the trade-in, but a replacement battery isn't challenging to find. You can choose to buy the same battery or a different battery with a higher mAh to extend the E11's battery life. Make sure to read the review carefully, as it does contain this info and...- IcarusW

Battery on fiio e11
According to ClieOs' review, it can vary from about 20+ hours to 12 depending on what setting you have it on. Here is the link to his review: http://www.head-fi.org/t/552605/fiio-e11-impression-information-support I plan to order one on my own, so I'll be able to verify in about a...- IcarusW

Best smartphone around $200 with good sound quality
Hi OP, Just a heads-up, Voodoo only works on rooted android devices. I cannot give you a solid recommendation as I am fairly unexperienced with most smartphones, but most Samsung devices here in North America tend to have mediocre DAC's, like my Galaxy S3.- IcarusW
