FiiO New Portable Headphone Amp A1 --Classic & Tiny & Metal
The form factor is awesome. I used to own Cayin C5 headphone amp but it was too much of a hassle to pair with iPhone 6s Plus. This would be perfect for to-go headphone amp :)- SptTablo

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
If I were you, I would go for Nano iDSD. I would rather have the option to be able to play DSD files for the future. And also, iDAC kinda lacks the connectivity.- SptTablo

iFi audio iPower - universal Ultra-Low Noise AC/DC adapter
I am not really sure with newer / improved version of products you have mentioned. All I know is that they are working on the pro / mini line up which is strictly for desktop usage only. ( They costs $1500~ ) -
Need help in planning speaker set-up. (New in speakers..)
I would like to say thanks for replying to me! I really appreciate it. Quote: I already have Nano iDSD which I am currently using with my Z906. Since I use RCA connection, it will bypass the built-in DAC. ( They only kick in when input source is optical - digital source. ) My... -
Need help in planning speaker set-up. (New in speakers..)
Hi everyone, I own a Logitech Z906 but after getting into head-fi, I want to upgrade my speakers. ( These speakers are good for entertainment not solely for listening. ) I have to say that I still really like them and they are really multi-functional speakers. This is my plan now. ...- SptTablo

iFi audio iPower - universal Ultra-Low Noise AC/DC adapter
They will include the iPower in every model that requires wall-wart adapter. In fact, when I purchased my Micro iCAN, I was able to chose the option between low noise adapter or new iPower. ( It is just newer package that has a iPower. ) I went with the one with iPower since I wanted to... -
Sony's new flagship 2014 - MDR-Z7
This is really a good point. I know a lot of 'bad people' (understated here) who have done this to new born companies or individual business. If you are getting into make it a 'thing' you should consider doing this in timely manner.- SptTablo

That is a brilliant naming. And I think there will be a lot of demand as well since headphone stands sometimes can take a lot of spaces and etc.- SptTablo

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
Ah, I would have loved to get one but I am high school student soon to be graduated so can't really throw my money on those 'yet'. It makes me sad but Nano iDSD is well worth over what I paid for. YES. I am indeed holding myself on upgrading my speaker set until I have enough...- SptTablo

Wow. Very detailed explanation is always welcome. Thank you for the help! I was hearing about your news of attenuator and its name contest as well. TBH, I really love companies that has a lot of interaction with their customers. All of my concern regarding to rate of volume...- SptTablo

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
Wow Thanks for the explanation. I am aware of the fact that analog volume control is not perfectly linear but on Nano iDSD it seemed to be too steep in the lower volume. The graph explains ;) I ordered Micro iCAN and I just hope it won't be this bad.- SptTablo

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
Yes. I am aware of your usage of analog volume control. I wasn't referring to unbalance between channels. I am talking about rate of volume change. Past 9 o clock, the volume change is very constant except before 9 o clock, the volume change is very sudden. (The volume drops in...- SptTablo

iFi Audio Nano iDSD discussion + impression
One thing I noticed recently. In low volumes, I am talking around nine o' clock on volume nob, the volume don't gradually change. They change in sudden level which is weird. Can anyone test this? Thanks.- SptTablo

Sony's new flagship 2014 - MDR-Z7
LOL Sorry My bad... I was on the way when I was writing that post. On the product page of the Kimber cable on Sony Korea's webpage says that it is indeed silver coated, however, in the manual of my Kimber cable only says that it is OFC. And since gadget67 got confirmed by Kimber...- SptTablo

iCAN Amp Review: A New Amp that Gives You More: More Bass, More Soundstage and More Detail
Hey Everyone, I have a question about Micro iCAN. I own Nano iDSD with iPurifier and I am looking for an amp to match with my Nano iDSD. (I do have an amp - Cayin C5 but I don't think it will be able to compete with both Nano iCAN or Micro iCAN) One of the my biggest question is...- SptTablo

Sony's new flagship 2014 - MDR-Z7
Yes. I completely agree with you Kerouac. I have the 1.2m version - I chose this option since I do not have any balanced output on my dac. It is pain to adjust the cable since it is too stiff. While it is well built - yeah people always ask what kind of geeky thing is that...- SptTablo

Sony's new flagship 2014 - MDR-Z7
What many people say about Kimber cables for Z7 is that it is not an upgrade where you can hear the difference evidently but it is a sort of an upgrade where you are not gonna be able to go back to stock cable. I hope that made sense... :joy:- SptTablo

True. I have a Cayin C5 portable amp and ever since I got IFI Nano iDSD - it is awesome btw - I wanted to get better headphone amp. Since Kimber does have improvements over stock one (although it is still silver plated copper cable), I will save my money towards Micro iCAN headphone...- SptTablo

Aha, thanks for your input. I got Kimbers from Sony Korea for free as they had a promotion where if you purchase Z7, you could choose from three variations of Kimber and they will give you for free. So compare to the stock cable, if does tame bass a bit and brightens the can a bit...- SptTablo
