It's an interest check, they're not up for grabs quite yet. But I'm interested to hear from people how much they'd value them at. You mention collectors value, how would you quantify that :)? J.W- JW Santhem

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Could not just be HR's fault, but the fault of Universities having such ****ty program's that even a PhD does not guarantee a skilled person. As a university student I feel like I lack every kind of actual skill the program is supposed to teach me. You simply study a couple weeks before each...- JW Santhem

No need to be suspicious. It's an interest check, and I just wanted to see how much I could get for them, so I didn't want to fill in a price. Since I had to (or else I couldn't post) I put in 150$ as that's the value John put on the package when he shipped it. Realistically speaking I'm...- JW Santhem

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
As someone about to enter the job market, I seriously hope more people think this way :) On topic of the Garmin example: That was probably quite awkward. The only other explanation could be that they outsource their digital activities to a software firm.- JW Santhem

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
As a CEO you get away with this kind of behaviour, after all, you are fully responsible. But from a human resources point of view, when a recruiter would use such methods, there's simply a lack of accountability that an official procedure takes away, or at least attempts to take away. I'm...- JW Santhem

London Head-Fi Meet Up - Summer 2014
I don't have much experience with such events or organizing them, so i'll refrain from commenting, but I'm interested to see where it's going. Subscribed. P.S. Maybe you can check if you can get the local vinyl community intrested. Could mean more numbers.- JW Santhem

Schiit we'd like to see
Haha yeah I agree. I kinda wanted to purchase a Bitfrost but being a perfectionist I know i'd feel "incomplete" buying the Bitfrost without upgrade... However with the upgrade it's kind of expensive. Especially coming from a 99$ Modi. Would be nice to have a 225-250$ amp inbetween.- JW Santhem

Why do you feel it needs a lot of burn-in? Could you be more specific about what's not good right out of the box (even though your initial impressions are very positive)? I'm looking at maybe upgrading from my Ms-Pro's. Not sure if the PS1k's are my piece of cake, but they're certainly on the...- JW Santhem

Looks like it has the soft pads, so probably an sr125, 80 or 60. Got to love the wooden detailing though. Very good looking phones.- JW Santhem

Hahaha it must really suck to have such a problem man. I wouldn't want to switch places with you. Oh wait I would :) Anyway, there's a thread the issue over here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/568913/comfortable-headband-for-grado-ps1000- JW Santhem

Portable tube amp from china?
I'm in the market for something like this, and the B-1 seems like a nice place to start. Only thing that worries me is the heat. How hot does this get? I'm addicted to the tube sound, but looking for something that will comfortably fit in my chest pocket...- JW Santhem

Schiit we'd like to see
Wow, That actually shows how customer-oriented they already are. Most companies out there wouldn't really mind selling you items that you'll probably end up replacing. Nice thinking. Still I wouldn't mind seeing an all-in-one solution from them. With the upgrade boards they'v proven they can...- JW Santhem

I'm actually surprised they don't have a dac / amp combo yet. I'd like to see that from them, and they'v already proven they can build a lot of performance in a small casing. So what are they waiting for? Also, i second the headphone stand idea. Schitts metal work is simply amazing.- JW Santhem

Nice to see some Alessandro love. Beautiful photography as well. What were your main reasons for going with the ms-2 over the sr-325is and the ms-pro over rs-1?- JW Santhem

Alessandro Music Series MS PRO FAN CLUB!
Allow me to join the fanclub. I have gotten my MS-Pro's a few months back, and this thread was partly responsible for that decision. So far, no regrets. Amazing sound, great grado mids and a tight bass. I am currently running it off a Schiit Valhalla, but I'm not really happy with that...- JW Santhem
