Two Budget Kings: Superlux 681 evo vs Samson sr850 (Similar to Superlux 668b but with headband)
Necro- (please withhold your stone throwing) I'm trying to decide between these two headphones and can't decide. Could someone help me please? These headphones are going to be used exclusively for music. I listen to a lot of vocal-centric music (e,g. John Legend, Sam Smith, Janelle...- xD4rkFire

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
$10.71 shipping for me which brings the Uptowns up to $19.70. Would they still be worth purchasing at that price? Seems kind of funny how much it costs to ship a set of IEMs from a US-based company.- xD4rkFire

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Can't seem to find much information on the Gratitudes and Monster doesn't exactly have a good track record. I thought about it and I actually would say I don't want to spend more than $35 on IEMs- xD4rkFire

Which sub-$60 IEMs would be suitable for electronic/synth and female vocals? (artists such as Chvrches and Purity Ring for example)- xD4rkFire

Q701 impressions thread
Sounds interesting. I have a Q701 that I haven't been able to use with onboard audio (can't get the headphones loud enough) and I have a Sony CFD-S05 lying around. Think it would be worth trying out?- xD4rkFire

AKG Q701 onboard?
Oh, I already have the Q701's. The only problem I'm having with them right now is that I can't get them as loud as I'd like. I don't know though, using my Phillips compared to the Q701 right now, I find that the Phillips sounds better.- xD4rkFire

AKG Q701 onboard?
I have a pair of AKG Q701's but I don't have any sound equipment yet. Right now I'm using these pair of headphones on my onboard. My motherboard is a MSI Z77A-GD65 which the Realtek ALC898 audio codec. My question is: should I stick with my Phillips pair of headphones for now until I get an amp...- xD4rkFire

Headphones to AV Receiver?
I looked up my receiver and it turns out that it's pretty old (~10 years old). What I'm wondering is: is it still viable as an audio source, or has onboard audio come far enough to where the receiver is obsolete?- xD4rkFire

Headphones to AV Receiver?
I found a "Denon AV Surround Receiver AVR-3803" in my garage the other day and I was wondering how'd they perform for computer audio. Right now I'm just using the onboard on my MSI Z77A GD65. This would be entirely focused on gaming, specifically FPS gaming. If it's even worth doing, how would I...- xD4rkFire

Soundcard for Audio Technica AD700?
From what I've read, the top 2 picks seem to be the ASUS Xonar Essence STX and the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD. I don't play any old games, as that seemed to have come up in comparisons between the two. Can anyone tell me which one would be better for modern FPS games?- xD4rkFire

Soundcard for Audio Technica AD700?
I play a lot of Battlefield 3 and some CS:GO on the side, and I want to get the best soundcard for positional audio. Budget would be around $200. This will be entirely for FPS gaming; I'm not worried about music. Any help/input would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I realize I double posted...- xD4rkFire
