Hey all, After a good two years, my KSC 75s finally gave out. The right channel has stopped working. I'm not up to the task of recabling, so I'm just going to get another pair. I was wondering if they'll replace my phones because I quarter-modded them, and ermm sharpie modded them as well...

Can anyone who has/had the above setup leave a few impressions of what they thought of it? I currently have a TBAAM and modded KSC75, and was wondering if I should acquire a PA2v2. Will I get a noticeable improvement in SQ with the PA2v2, or just an increase in volume? Thanks in advance.

I know what an amp is, but what exactly is an ohm adaptor, and what does it do? I've heard many people make reference to such devices e.g. "The headphone sounds much better with a 75 ohm adaptor", and I would just like to know more about them. Thanks, and sorry if this is a nooby question.

About a month ago, I purchased a pair of Koss KSC 75 headphones, and have been loving them ever since. But one day I was bored, so I went looking around the house and found a pair of old headphones (probably from early/mid 90's...), and realized that the ear pieces were attached to the headband...

It seems that many people who have the KSC 75, and claim it has excellent sound quality, also have performed the kramer mod to them. As I'm hesistant to drill holes in a pair of headphones, I was wondering how the ksc 75's sound, (after burn in), without any modification. P.S. Where can I...
