Do you know of any other pads that could pop right into place just like the Shures would? And do all over the ear Shures pop in place?

I read through the thread here, and couldn't find out whether or not the Shure 840 pads actually clamp in place on the Fostex T50RP's or if you need to do some tear down construction to get them on. Any idea on whether or not the 840 pads clamp in the original earpads place?     Thanks...

The UE 9000's got good reviews. May want to check them out. They are closed back so they may not have an amazing soundstage, but the build, quality, and sound are all receving some sort of praise.

I wanted something open but not to the point that I couldn't take it to the office.  Sound decent, especially with my amp. But without it, it seemed... "Airy" . it think I'm going the closed route. Just my two cents.

I personally am looking at the Logitech UE6000s or the ATH-M50s. Not a big fan of my Sennheiser HD-595s...

Recently bought some new headphones from gmcmage (not fault on his part. arrived quick and pristine. much appreciated) and to my surprise the headphones sound weak. Not too mention the leakage on their part is absolutely horrific. They are 80% as loud on the outside as they are on the inside...
