I completely agree. Warmer and more spacious. I haven't had much listening time, but they are definitely a step up from the PM4.

It's good to know I'm not the only one having issues with the PM4. My right side connector falls out very easily. As far as sound goes though: wow. I can't believe what I am hearing from these. The price I got these for is ridiculous. They can hang with my FX850 and aren't even close in price...

I still love my S500! I always go back to it for reference because it was the first audiophile grade headphone purchase I made. For the price it is still the best sound you can get IMO. I love the stock pads too!!

Right when I thought I was satisfied with my FX850...

I've wanted to try a reformat, but I have been procrastinating because of how long it will take to transfer my music files back on to the SD card. I will definitely give this a shot soon as the stuttering drives me crazy even though it doesn't happen that often.

I didn't reformat my SD card using the SD card association software. I wonder if that would make a difference...

Apparently the DX50 works best when the SD card is formatted to FAT32. Mine is I'm ExFat and I get stuttering her and there, so I recommend that. When you download the firmware there is a read me with instructions on what to do when installing new firmware. You just want to do a factory reset...

Your PC volume won't affect anything. Check the volume on your DX50.

I understand. The only time using my DX50 is important to me is when listening to music through J. River, so I don't have an issue there. I tried using my DX50 with YouTube videos and that's where I saw the delay. I'll just use my on-board soundcard when browsing the internet.
