oh wow it was out of stock at audio46 when I checked yesterday I think, thanks will place an order. Got to say I am impressed with the Fd01, i like the build quality, the sound and and the weight, and i can get a good fit for my ears.

any comparison on alternating the sound between the final E tip and the stock tip? and if I use the second smallest size of the stock tip, which size of the final E tip I should order? Can't find a multi pack of the final E tip for some reason. Gotta say I am not a big fan of the stock tip...

Never mind, somehow found a few alcohol pad at home, and the lends cleaning wipe is paper...

has anyone used zeiss lens cleaning wipe vs the 2 ply alcohol swab? With the pandemic, the alcohol swab is nearly impossible to find locally, hate to order a whole bunch on amazon, and I have some zeiss lens cleaning wipe at home.

I may ended up buying the FW01 as well..never had any wood IEM before. so for the Fdx1, what material is the filler in the two nozzle that's filled? on seems white and one seems black? and seems like you prefer your own mod on the bare nozzle than the other two?

Yes I thought that the fd01 came with 3 different type of metal is actually a plus. From else where I read that most people prefer the brass nozzle.

wondering why drop sold so little of the Fd01 but sold 1k Fdx1? wouldn't it be a much better deal to buy Fd01 and do the mod basically it's a less than $5 dollar mod.

So if I buy fd01, and mod the steel nozzle with james444 alcohol pad mod, it should yield similar result to the green or blue nozzle of the fdx1?

reading the comments from drop, looks like it may take a while to get fdx1, the previous orders has not even be delivered yet.

I find it the IE800 maybe better for classical music, which I do listen to them a lot with the IE800. The TF10 I find it's very heavy on the bass, which I heard the FDX1 is heavy on bass too? Between the FW01 and the FDX1 I am hoping to pick the one that's a little held back on the treble and...

I mean I am not in a hurry, i think maybe drop will have FDX1 for sale again sometime in the near future again? Is the FDX1 normally go for $280 now? Fd01 is selling for $225 now. Does it justify the cost difference to do the mod myself and get the same result for less the price difference...
