V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Quote: Don't get me wrong, I think m-100 is a really great headphone, In fact I keeped both momentum and m-100. But for me comfort-wise momentum wins hands down. Even without bending momentum clamp much less, pads are really soft like ear cushions and the internal cloth padding keep...- sdonati84

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Quote: Between m-100 and momentums I think that momentum is defintely the more comfortable. Momentum are lighter, clamp less and ears don't become hot. For me momentum become more comfortable after some break in time...- sdonati84

Have someone tried dirac apps? It would be nice if v-moda partnered with dirac to release a v-moda dirac optimized app for m-100, m-80 and LP series... Dirac do some frequency optimization but also time domain and phase optimization tailored to a specific headphone to compensate for physical...- sdonati84

@takato14: Note II amp gain is SW limited. STweaks / Voodoo are used to maximize the gain and to tweak other parameters in order to maximize sound quality.- sdonati84

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Quote: Quote: I fully agree. Some time ago I contacted v-moda service for a cracked earcup and they told me I had to return the headphones and that I had to pay the shipping costs. From Italy it's really expensive so I chose to not send it back.- sdonati84

@takato14: it's not $500 sound quality. It's more of one of the best sounding mass market products. Obviously can't compete with "audiophile" players. But to me it sounds as good as my ipod touch 5g but I prefer the note as I find it more "smooth" , plus the big gorgeous screen, the expandable...- sdonati84

I contacted v-moda some days ago for the same reason...Cracked left earcup and I never exchanged shields. Very disappointing as it seems a common issue and all the statements about v-moda products quality are a bit excessive... They told me to apply for warrranty claim...- sdonati84

Quote: I agree on the listening fatigue, low trebles are quite aggressive for me. I also experience that even at low volumes (tipically I listen to 1/3 ipod touch 5g max volume). If you find out a good eq configuration please share with us !- sdonati84

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
Quote: Hi! Great Review! Can I ask you the serial number of the IE800 you used? Some are complaining about them beeing too bright and from your review they don't seem too hot in the treble... Maybe the problem was in the first batch... I am really torn, because IE800 seems like what I am...- sdonati84

V-MODA VAMP VERZA/METALLO: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, Crowdsourcing Ideas
I use an ipod touch 5g as source with aac 256k / alac files. I also tested both M-80 and M-100 with an international Galaxy S3 (i9300) with Wolfson DAC using flac files, but the better result in terms of clarity and detail is obtained with the ipod (even if they are very close). Usually I listen...- sdonati84

V-MODA VAMP VERZA/METALLO: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, Crowdsourcing Ideas
Thanks for the answer, in fact I own both M-80 and M-100. At first M-100 listen, I was instantly positively shocked by the bass quality and quantity but didn't like the evident midrange recession and the harshness of the low treble. I decided to give them some time and I used them for 3 months...- sdonati84

Isolation is quite good, like m100 and a bit more than m80. Bass extend much lower than px100 and is more refined, px100 mid-bass is a lot more pronunciated- sdonati84

Review by 'sdonati84' on item 'Sennheiser MOMENTUM'
These sound really good for closed headphones: very good detail, good bass, fantastic mids, good highs without beeing too bright or harsh sounding. Jumping from v-moda m80 I found these more detailed and extended, expecially on the highs. The sound is also more airy and the soundstage more...- sdonati84

Review by 'sdonati84' on item 'V-MODA Crossfade M-80'
When I received my M-80, the first thing I noticed was the premium packaging. Build quality is really great, these headphones have really a premium feel. Also the case is unique. 2 cables are included, one with only mic (compatible with most phones and players) and one for apple products. The...- sdonati84
