Are you using slow or sharp roll off? If slow, try sharp to see if the pop/click goes. It did for me but there were so many other problems for me, I went back to 2.1.5.

i'm going back to 2.1.5L2. The random rebooting after selecting certain audio files has increased in frequency with 2.1.8. even when transferring the folder to the onboard memory, same results as on the micro sd card. I can't keep deleting songs from folders just because the dx90 can't play them...

tested again, seems to only click when slow roll-off is set. Could you check your settings and compare please? It clicks at the end of the song and again on the beginning of the next... OK did a factory reset and tested again. Sharp roll-off, no clicks as with previous firmware, slow roll-out...

ahhhh ok, i thought by having the common power supply modded, the addition was of an external PS. I take it the internal power allowance to to DACs was changed?
