Noob with a Focal Stellia
Thanks for the rec, seems what I might need and the practical aspects really help too (I travel a lot for work). I noticed on another forum someone recommended the iFi Nano iDSD as a better pairing, so wonder what anyone's thoughts are on it? Got the Q3 on my Black Friday list regardless, so...- leothurpv

Noob with a Focal Stellia
Basically as titled - sorry, couldn't find much when searching and very tired lol :P! Looking for a budget friendly portable amp for the Stellia (sub-200), more of a clean boost to be used with IOS and PC devices. Whilst I'm here - any recommendations from owners on pads/cable upgrades in the...- leothurpv

JH Audio Lola Impressions and Discussions
Haha, I have Noble K10's (not Encore sadly) so not too bothered about whether portable or not. I will have the opportunity to test the cans in the next month or so. I'm thinking I will probably prefer the intimacy of CIEMs, perhaps because I am used to them, hence also investigating these. On...- leothurpv

JH Audio Lola Impressions and Discussions
Hmm, I've never really ventured to JH Audio as they never do any shows in Europe (or more likely I have missed them as outside of the UK). I'm currently debating between LCD-3 or these, which is near impossible without reviews ._. Do any long-term JH Audio customers know if the current pricing...- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
First thing that springs to my mind is that perhaps you have the right side pushed in way too far? There shouldn't be any suction or seal formed. Customs 'sit' in the ear, they should be comfortable and unnoticeable after an hour or so. In terms of bass, the deeper one inserts the IEMs the bass...- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Hey, my impressions arrived 2 weeks ago but I haven't received any emails from a lab or such, should I assume they are being worked on or email asking for an update? (I read that Noble don't usually answer such things in their FAQ). Understandably I'm a little apprehensive they haven't arrived...- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I've been on the Game of Thrones film sets, seen the actors - even got headhunted to audition for the part of John Snow! Still, never watched an episode! Sounds too incest-prawn ey for me! On an unrelated note - £50 for impressions by Aid2Hearing in London - seems about £15 steeper than I'd...- leothurpv

Completely agree with this almost. But first comes your music xD. I've ordered the K10 to work with a £100 O2 or my iPhone/IPad. I'll look into Hugo's and such next year (:- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
As clinically of interest as the above posts may be to my degree, I have a question on topic. Any UK buyers have experience regarding increased wait times, or customs charges? Also who did the final delivery for UPS? Hopefully not Parcelforce....- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Yes! Thought I had it all worked out but nooo, just had to see the Buckeye! It seems the hardest choice is the wood! :D Oddly I like Buckeye more as it reminds me of an owl. Not sure it works with amber shells though! #1stworldproblems :P- leothurpv

Big thank you to all who took the time to review my posts, It's end of term for us budding Clinical Psychology students, so am insanely busy - But Thank You! Also dying here trying to decide between Amber and gold nugget shells and Ambonya OR Buckeye faceplates... would the Amber clash badly...- leothurpv

Haha Just an eager, broke student here xD Today is actually earlier than I was expecting! Also, I notice that the UK now has a regional site! Nicely done! PayPal tends to use inflated currency conversion... N.B. How does one delete posts here? ._. Also to anyone who HAS a K10 custom...- leothurpv

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Hm what if I want a wizard reprint of a faceplate, but a different main shell on it (such as a standard Amber with Gold nuggets type design). Is this covered by the Wizard reprint? I'm put off by both the price and luck of the draw with Wizard designs... Unlike some on this forum I don't drool...- leothurpv

Just curious to know if anyone has tried using these as stage monitors? If everything is, as stated, unbiased across the spectrum then they may require a bass boost?- leothurpv

[Review] Noble Audio Kaiser 10 - The Wizard Rises Again
But let us not pretend there isn't a rather sizable mark-up on every companies product, that to us consumers quite frankly makes us not really care if for $1900 you have to do a lot of work. In fact I would jolly well hope so! By comparison, you could buy a small car for that - they take a lot...- leothurpv

[Review] Noble Audio Kaiser 10 - The Wizard Rises Again
Say then unhelpful chap, how does one acquire such an item? As for $300 one would expect a design likeness in complexity (not particularly so) or indeed more intricate! For example, I'd like a birds eye view of a miniature cross-section of a grand piano, including a row of keys and string...- leothurpv

Wooden over ear cups for secret mod
Hey, didn't know where to post this so, please correct me if wrong! I'm looking for wooden ear cups, either from broken headphones or from DIY suppliers or kits. Preferrably unvented, with a wooden bowl chamber - or at the very least very slightly vented. Ideas please! Thanks- leothurpv

[Impression] JDS Labs C421 (OPA2227 vs. AD8620) featuring cmoyBB, O2, T5 and UHA-4.
I'm wondering what the situation is with output impedance - on both your profile and the website it still is listed as 0.1 rather than 10-11 :/ urm. Also I'm new to this entire thing - anyone know how the MG6Pro would perform with the C421? It's 32ohm if that's helpful (lol see how new I...- leothurpv
