Comparably sized PC speakers to replace my Edifier E25HD?
I've had my Edifier E25HD speakers for 5 years but unfortunately the left speaker has started to distort so I guess it's time to look for a replacement. I am space starved so I can't go much bigger (which rules out bookshelf speakers) and while I could import the often recommend Klipsch Promedia...- overhaze

Does the smsl Sanskrit 10th mkiii have the audio delay issue?
Just a quick question about something I haven't found from googleing. Does the smsl sanskrit 10th mkiii have the same audio delay issue as the MKII? I love the MKII for music but the random lag made it a pain for any other kind of content consumption. Does anyone know? Cheers.- overhaze

My SMSL Sanskrit MK II is only showing 32bit sound formats without drivers (windows 10)
My SMSL Sanskrit MK II is only showing 32-bit sound options when used without its xmos drivers. This would not normally be be a problem but I'm looking to eliminated unnecessary drivers from this system and sometimes you need to run at lower bitrates for comparability. Is there any solution to...- overhaze

Light comfortable headphones for someone with very large ears?
With lock down I've been having a lot more long gaming sessions but I'm running into a problem. All my headphones become uncomfortable after about two hours. It's a combination of my very large forward facing ears and the fact my favorite headphones are quite heavy. That's fine for listening to...- overhaze

Could someone recommend a usb to optical "adapter" for my new pc?
Hi I need an optical out for my new pc and unfortunately I don't have a free slot to just stick a sound card in there. So it has to be a usb box. Can anyone recommend a good choice? I only need stereo out, 192000 24 would be nice but 96000 24 will do fine. The only thing I've been able to find...- overhaze

Help me interpret some RMAA results (ground loop or no?)
Hello I'm looking to for help interpreting some RMAA results from an odac+O2 combo connected to one of my computers. I can't judge whether I am looking at an actual ground loop between my computer and the odac or one between the odac and my PCs line-in. Some large screenshots incoming. This...- overhaze

Can you recommend a pair of multi-purpose PC speakers in the €200 - €300 range
Hello My current pc speakers are the Edifier E25 Luna Eclipse. They sound great for music and lord knows they look the bees knees but they just don't have the imaging for gaming or the excitement for movies. I need something that is proficient for all three while also not being much bigger...- overhaze

A pair of Boompro compatible closed cans with good isolation for gaming?
Given how specific this is I felt it needed its own thread. Basically I generally game in open cans (X2s) but due to some ongoing construction near-by I need a quality closed option with good isolation. I've been having to use my Bose QC35s (with a 3.5mm adapter) which while comfortable aren't...- overhaze

Help picking the most comfortable cans with the best imaging
I'm looking to add another pair of cans to my collection but this time I'm primarily focused on two things. Comfort and imaging. Interesting video: Gaming Headset (Astro A40) vs Headphones (V-Moda M100))
I ran across an interesting video during random Youtubery. Interesting results. I've never used a gaming headset in my life (my beloved Fidelio X2s are my current go-to gaming cans) and I don't doubt their inferiority for all other audio but could there be a "horses for courses" argument to...- overhaze

Easier To Drive Headphones with with K702 level soundstage for VR gaming?
Ok I'm asking a lot here but can anyone recommend a pair of headphones with soundstage on the level of the AKG k702s that are easier to drive and might fit over a PSVR? The k702s are just about the only pair of headphones I've ever put on that can give me an real "out of head" experience. If I...- overhaze

The right speaker on my Audioengine A2s is making a resonant sound with some frequencies
