Given how specific this is I felt it needed its own thread. Basically I generally game in open cans (X2s) but due to some ongoing construction near-by I need a quality closed option with good isolation. I've been having to use my Bose QC35s (with a 3.5mm adapter) which while comfortable aren't exactly amazing for gaming.

Any suggestions? Boompro comparability is necessary because I own one and like how it sounds!

Not Boompro compatible but would the DT 770 pro be the best price performance and isolation choice here?

Many people have had luck with the Monoprice closed back headphones and the boompro. Most recommend upgrading the earpads on them, though. I personally haven't listened to these headphones, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
