There aren't many headphones that actually require several watts to drive them to decent spl.

I would rather have a little less power but lower noise floor and lower THD/IMD numbers across the audible frequency spectrum. I don't know why some people think every headphone needs several watts to sound good. That makes no sense!

Yeah, a good seal and comfortable fit can make a night and day difference.

Double flange tips could be an option. I can go one size smaller with those. CP240 are reasonably comfortable.
