Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless - The Official Thread

Yes they definitely a bit too bright for me. I have over ear M2 AEBT and only use it with ANC on. They do sound completely different without ANC using headphone jack but I'd rather wear my PX100. I only use the M2 for calls and when my neighbours are playing loud music.

Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless - The Official Thread

That is helpful to know, thank you. I already feel the M2 a little too bright for me and if the M3 are brighter and build quality going down as well, well it is such a shame.

Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless - The Official Thread

Do you know if they make any reference to how the earlier M2 pads were made, or are you referring specifically to M3 pads leather appearing parts being entirely real leather? I don't want to have to go all Rose Anvil on Sennheiser over this.

Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless - The Official Thread

Does anyone know if the M3 earpads are pleather on the inside edge like on the M2 over ear pads? My M2 are peeling only in this section and I can tell from the grain/lack of that they are not completely made of real leather.

    Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Wireless!

The Amazon link didn't work for me. I tried the Sennheiser site; when I click buy it redirects me to https://global.sennheiser-hearing.com/ and if I search there for Momentum they only have M3 earpads.

    Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Wireless!

The inner leather is sadly not real leather like the outer ring. Mine are peeling but cannot find any replacement, they are too old. Does anyone know if the M3 pads are also pleather inside? Sennheiser seem to be selling them as replacement for M2 despite being larger.

    Treble damping material

Some pics. I couldn't cover the noise cancelling mic on each ear because it affected the phase cancellation. So some of the diaphragm is not covered. It's much easier to put the ear pad on first and then put the memory foam inside than try to put the ear pad over. I didn't want to glue the foam...

    Treble damping material

Sorry to necro this but I was looking for similar for my Sennheiser M2 AEBT. The outer part of my ears were hurting from the plastic speaker grille, and I wanted to tame the treble a bit. I ended up cutting thin (4mm approx) strips of memory foam from a small sample block that gave me enough to...

    Noise cancelling ear fatigue

I wonder if it's to do with how much cancelling. I don't get fatigue with Sennheiser M2 AEBT either (though I wish I could turn the in ear voice prompts just down a little).

    Noise cancelling ear fatigue

From my understanding noise cancelling works by phase cancellation but beyond a recording situation I don't have much knowledge. I do have sensitive ears though and wondered exactly what is my ears receiving in SPL terms during ANC (no music)? I noticed with Sony WM1000MX4, not listening to...

    Sony WH-1000XM4 discussion and reviews

I hated these headphones and wish I did my homework before buying. The only thing going for them was the wearing comfort and relatively light weight. Sound-wise I am used to warmer sounding Sennheiser PX100 (original and II), and Beyerdynamic DT-250s. Sonically I did not rate WH-1000MX4 very...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

Hi guys ^^   Anyone have experience with Vots/惟笙, or know the OEM? I saw these DQ100 on Banggood (no affiliation) and quite like the design. Wonder how they sound. Dual driver but cost a bit more than KZ etc.   The plastic is translucent like my black KZ ATE, but iridescent colouring. I...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Thank you so much for these reviews, ljokerl. I have a question about the Soundmagic PL21; I hope it's okay to ask here. Do you find they fit comfortably when worn with the cable straight down? I was a bit concerned after reading DervishD's post about them that they aren't comfortable when worn...
