at school doing programming, thought I would take a listen with my etymotic mc5. Sounds decent to me (on a lame computer headphone out...)! highs could go higher, you have to remember the highs are shrill on the 990....  bass and mids are perfect for me.... on my mc5... and bad school computer...

I would say jump on it! They are great cans, at least that's what I gathered from the couple of times I have listened to them. I would recommend pairing them with a decent amp though....

I am using the SP2500 with a Titanium HD. The speakers are beastly for their price, and anyone who complains about them either A. Doesn't have a high quality source or B. Didn't leave the settings to none and reference.   For music, it rocks. For games, guess what? It is amazing. For movies...
