I think M902 can surely "drive" LCD-2 as the output power will be enough, it's just: whether M902 matches with LCD-2.   Also,interested in the M902+Rudistor MD1 Combo Quote:

I once listened to the ER4(modded to balanced) with SR71B,and its sound is amazing

M50 is fine but I guess a DAC with headphone amp will be appropriate for your need.And use it with the computer instead of ipod.

Regarding the sound quality,i think sawstudio and samplitude is way better than foobar2000

Surely interested,looking forward to my first head-fi meet in USA.   And I can bring  my D7000s,Northstar USB DAC32 or Grace M902 if needed

Though having M902 with D7000s which may be a pair can play most kinds of music well, I still prefer my old HD540 Reference(Earliest Edition) when listening to vocal music.   It sounds more emotional and 'sweet' though it;s not as 'hifi' as M902+D7000.   So I'm here looking for a tube...

I bought an Etyomic ER-4B 2 years ago and I found its sound brilliant.Transparent and smooth,esp after enough burn-in time.   But when I come to America,it seems to be discontinued?I can;t even find a place to buy it. Or it;s just much less popular than ER-4S here?
