Going from ER-6i to HF2/3/5?
I realize that I'll probably never find IEMs that have a big, open sound (without spending thousands of dollars), but I'll be happy with some that have similar frequency response to the KSC75s. Now I'm not sure if I should get more IEMs or just hang on to my ER-6i's and look for some nice...- buffpants24

Going from ER-6i to HF2/3/5?
Thanks for the info. ir_toast: I see you also have the Koss KSC75s. Do any of the IEMs mentioned thus far compare to those? I love those things... Thanks- buffpants24

Going from ER-6i to HF2/3/5?
I prefer true sound over warm sound. My ER-6i's aren't broken or anything, I'm just looking for something new and wondering how the HF2/3/5s stack up against them. Thanks- buffpants24

Going from ER-6i to HF2/3/5?
I've been using my ER-6i IEMs for a while now, & now I'm looking to replace them. I combed through the reviews, & it looks like the HF2/3/5 IEMs might be the way to go. Has anyone here heard both? How do they compare? Thanks- buffpants24

Do the Koss KSC75s still set the standard?
I know I'll be happy with them, but I was just wondering if anything better had come along. Guess not. I gave the Kramer mod a try when he first created it, but they turned out a little too bright so I gave that pair to my cousin and picked up another pair. Since I have an extra pair of...- buffpants24

Do the Koss KSC75s still set the standard?
I haven't been here in a while. I used the KSC75's for about four years and really enjoyed them, but when one channel suddenly stopped working a couple of weeks ago the engineer inside me attempted to repair them. I think the problem was a short near the voice coil, but when I realized they were...- buffpants24

75ohm resistors with ER6i's?
Has anyone tried it? I tried searching for an impedance graph of the ER6i's online so I could predict the effects of adding a 75ohm resistor, but I couldn't find one.- buffpants24

I fixed my Zen Micro's headphone jack!
Last night I decided to have a quick listen with my Zen Micro. When I plugged my KSC75's into the Micro, I noticed there was a slight clicking noise. I wiggled the plug around inside the jack and the sound repeatedly went from mono to stereo. At first I suspected that the KSC75's were the...- buffpants24

Quick question for Zen Micro + aux-in user.
I have been setting my volume to 23/25, which makes the music from my Micro play at about the same volume as the cd player or radio. I'll probably reduce the volume to 21 to reduce noise though. Even with the volume at 25/25, I never notice any clipping. What does clippind sound like?- buffpants24

Quick question for Zen Micro + aux-in user.
Is anyone here using a Zen Micro with an aux-ix jack or a tape adapter? If so, at what volume are you putting your Micro on while you listen? I'm trying to find out which level will give me the loudest sound without sacrificing audio quality. Thanx- buffpants24
