Yeah I have the HD6XX too, but I don't think I can afford to keep both (the M1060 and the 6XX), and so far I like the M1060 more. I guess I can just resell the build later for cost if I don't like it but I'd appreciate if someone can share their experience.

Thanks for your impression. I have an OTL amp too (the LDmkII) and I was afraid it won't drive the M1060 well. What's your impression of driving it with the Crack?   ALso can you elaborate on the comparison with Grado? I remember the Grade to have almost no bass.
