What are the options for recabling T5Ps in EU?
Hi Bought T5P a year ago. And I like them but the thing is - cable sucks! And I'm not talking about SQ. It just breaks after 2 months of usage. And after sending headphones back 2 times already and seeing the cable break again I decided to not bother anymore and stick to my HD25s and Allan &...- naurispunk

Should I recable T5P and where?
Hi So I bought Beyerdynamic T5P after wearing HD25 for a year because i wanted something with bigger soundstage. That and I guess I wanted to clear my cash account a bit :) As much as I love the looks and the sound of them I had worries about their cable choice as it looked pretty...- naurispunk

Brazil's alright.
Just finished watching some stuff from UFC in Rio. There is something about Brasil that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Really nice people over there (mostly). Hope to visit some day :) that is all.- naurispunk

Surround sound (5.1) headphones for ps3 (optical).
I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of headphones for may playstation 3 that... well I live in a block apartment so a good 5.1 sound system is not really an option so I'm thinking about headphones that try to mimick that. Did a few searches and it seems that 90% or...- naurispunk

Metal with good headphones...WOW!
Quote: I'm keeping them because I think they are amazing. Though you have to treat them right of they WILL make your ears hurt (in my case literally). I don't really use one headphone for certain style of music. I like going back and forth betweend my AKGs, XONE & Grados.- naurispunk

Grado sr80i/sr125i require an amp?
Two things: 1) You don't need an amp for SR80 or SR125. 2) As i understand you need portable headphones. Does that means you want to use them in public places? If so then Grados may not be the best idea as they are open back - no isolation and leaks sounds every which way. In case you...- naurispunk

Which cans should I get?
No isolation and rock... get Grados. SR80 or SR125 I think are in the price range. I have SR80i and although I hate their build quality they actually sound great and they havent broken yet (I think the fact that they look like they will bothers me the most).- naurispunk

Metal with good headphones...WOW!
Quote: You may call it childish but its kinda true for a lot of metal. I remember seeing interview with Dave Mustane where he was going on and on and on about how he intvented some technique to play guitar so fast that noone could keep up with him and he was the only one who can play it...- naurispunk

What should I get in addition to my AKG K-240's
Have you found some that are good? Also does different amps you've own made a significant difference or just made the flavor a bit different? Quote:- naurispunk
