Great Piano music.
Nojima plays Liszt - available from Amazon (USA). Very definitely one of the finest piano recordings of all time. Superb quality. It is also worth investigating the increasingly popular British artist Stephen Hough. He is rapidly gaining the respect he deserves, and has numerous recordings...- Dave Clements

Who has the Solo?
I've had mine for a couple of months now, and I don't regret buying it. I appreciate that a lot of purists out there are against solid state designs, preferring tubes, but ultimately this decision is down to the individual. If you're looking for a top end SS device, you should include the Solo...- Dave Clements

Recommended Listening
Hi folks, So much pours out on these pages relating to particular models, after market cables etc etc. All very interesting, but I haven't seen much relating to specifically what to listen to. Here's a thought for you all to digest. Many of the more mature readers (no offense, youngsters)...- Dave Clements

Has anyone considered the effect of age on the sensory systems, particularly the ears ? All this hype and BS about particular models, to burn in or not to burn in, choice of source, amp and connecting leads etc etc is a bit like chasing rainbows if your date of birth is really the deciding...- Dave Clements

Sennheiser HD 650
Just got a pair of HD650's and also Graham Slee Solo MkIII. Well pleased with initial results although both units have yet to burn in - several contributors to this site recommend 200 hours minimum for the Senn's. Reluctant to decide on a set of interconnects between main amp (AVI...- Dave Clements

To Burn in or not to burn in. That is the question.
Hey guys, Thanks for the responses. The initial query related to burning in a Graham Slee Solo headphone amp and Sennheiser HD650's, but I latterly spotted a series of articles in FAQ's and decided to remove the initial post. A case of less speed, more haste ! Whilst I'm on, I've seen quite...- Dave Clements
