Does the crack work well at all with a set of smaller monitors? If i get back into hifi 650 is the only pair of headphones i will own, although it would be nice if the crack could power some decent bookshelfs.

Where'd you hear about this? Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 650 + crack +dac but i might wait depending on the new specs of the lyr. Love schiit

  Looking to give speakers a try and wanted to start out with a small bedroom setup. (around 10x12ft) would room treatment have any benefit from running such a small speaker setup like the audioengine P4 or A5's? nothing crazy just a panel per wall. maybe a diffuser if i can get one for a good deal.

Im using a Bifrost, I think the odac should be fine with the sunrise. obviously there are some small gains but for the price im not sure its worth it. I have listened to both dacs on my amp side by side and the difference was minimal.
