New phone on the block - Philips HP890
Finally....reasonably priced headphones in Australia seem so damn rare I tried the HP890 and the HP550 at the store on some crappy Sony CDP. The HP890 are very light and damn comfortable to wear. And yea the sound leaked much more with the 890 than the 550, even though it surrounded the...- s00shi

New phone on the block - Philips HP890
Wow, I'm pretty sure just saw these headphones in Australia for AUD$125 (about US$62). Wondering, how well do they isolate? In a library for example, do they leak a lot of sound out? I don't mind hearing ouside noise while listening to headphones, but I don't want to get people annoyed...- s00shi

SR60 vs. SR80 vs. V6 vs. 750 vs. 950
Quote: Originally posted by jude I've owned the SR-60's, SR-80's, SR-325's......from the SR-80's up, the Grados are good at bass reproduction. But I still haven't heard a set of headphones that can hit the low stuff with the impact and tactility that the V6/7506's can...- s00shi

SR60 vs. SR80 vs. V6 vs. 750 vs. 950
How do the bass on the SR60/80 compare to the v6 or the denons? I listen to trance/electronic music and i like impact in the bass. I'm thinking of getting the v6 because i don't want to leak too much sound out.- s00shi
