I feel Equ has a much better UI where I can just select a song and play it. For equalizer I need to go and add it to a playlist and everything. I hope equalizer can adopt a similar scheme with the easiness of selecting what song I want to play and everything.

I'm also wondering, if anyone knows a better alternative to the stock pads. People were recommending the O2 pads, but that is pretty expensive. Is there maybe a cheaper alternative that provides similar comfort and sound quality? Any different pads suggestions if you are using a smeggy...

I would suggest you look into the dba-02. I personally feel the dba's are a nice upgrade from the re0s.
