    JBL J55 purchased

Wow........I sold my Aviators that I bought yesterday for what I got them for on clearance to a friend.  I thought they sounded very clear, but for the type of music I listen to, they just didnt have enough bass.  A flat response is desired by audiophiles I realize, but I needed a more V-shape...

A steal? Bought Skullcandy Aviators for $52 on clearance

.....at my local Target store.  I could not believe it!!!  Brand new in box with the plastic wrap still in place.  They were even cheaper than the Navigators $75 on clearance.  They are black with chrome trim, removable cable, and a leather zip up carry bag.  The original price was 149.99, but...

Picked up JVC HA-FX1X in ears..........

Wow, pretty amazed by the sound quality for $30.  By far the best money Ive spent on IEMs ever.  They have loads of bass (if thats what you like), but they also have great highs and mids.  The cord is pretty thick and doesnt tangle at all.  I also do not notice any noise of the cable rubbing...

I switched over to Cans from IEMs........... you???

I had used IEMs for the last 10yrs, but I finally realized that they bothered my ears after a couple of hours of use.  All of them made my ears hurt after awhile.  I dealt with it, and loved the sound of good IEMs, but the pain finally took its toll.  Anyhow, have any of you all made the switch...

    Replaced my Clip + with a Sony E354 ............

So far Im loving the Sony.  8g is plenty of space for my music, and even though the Clip + was small and sounded great............this Sony sounds even better IMHO.  The detail presented from the music with the Sony and S4's is amazing.

    Decent back ups..............Samsung IEM's

These came with the Samsung Galaxy smartphone.............. I may use these for when I hit the gym.  They have a nice cord that is tangle resistant, the housings are black glossy plastic, with a rubber strip down the backside.  They are pretty compact, have silicone tips and fit in the ear...

Klipsch S4 ear tips...........if you didnt know.

There is a very light line on the ear tips that is supposed to line up with a small white line on the ear monitor itself.  If you dont line them up, your IEM may not sit properly in your ear and may continuously fall out.    Just thought I would throw this out there for those who dont know.
