What did you want to be when you were young?
Airline pilot...But I quickly discovered I hate flying! So I now spend my days compiling statistical data on air crashes. Been a quiet few days until today… G-BWDF has just gone down after seemingly getting entangled in a towed banner. Whoops. No one killed.- sithompson

Other Passions?
Slow pitch softball is a big love. Yeap even an Englishman here in the UK can appreciate the game. Played and umpired for nearly 10 years, thanks to a chance meeting of a group of Americans. Love my motor racing. Everything from F1 to Ginetta, so long as it has four wheels and is not this rally...- sithompson

Is it possible to be in love with someone you barely know?
Interesting. I meet a girl who was with someone else and eventually she left him for me. Now she feels guilty and bad about about the whole thing and can't be with either of us. She had love for him and lust for me. Turns out I just had lust. Once I got to know her she turned out not to be the...- sithompson

How many 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter have you collected?
At least 10. Some of which are generic light weight ones, a couple of heavier Grado supplied ones and a nice one with a recess for when you use the slim jack sleeves on portable phones and IEM's- sithompson

what to do with ATH-910 Pros?
Well I made a mistake. Let me just get that out of the way. Trouble is it as a mistake costing me £90. I'm a fan of Audio Technica and I do like some of their closed cans and I thought I'd give the ATH-910 PRO a try and there in lies the mistake. These simply are the most woeful, flat, awful...- sithompson

Headphones you regretted buying the most
No regrets about the listing experience but in terms of the money spent, hell yes. Owned and sold: SR80i MS1 HD595 K701 Won't be buying Grados again and if the 595 are like the rest of the Senn range I'll stay clear. The K701's just did not live up to my expectations and I was very...- sithompson

ATH-A700 buzzing sound, but only on one amp
My first ever pair of closed cans have just arrived and eager to hear them I fired up the LD MkIV SE and gave the tubes a few minutes to warm up and as soon as I plugged in the new ATH-A700 I noticed a faint but audible buzz in both ears. Bit odd, so I switched on the LD MkIII and plugged them...- sithompson

Hairball Mishap...
I got half way down that post and actually called out “oh no!” The significant other looked at me with eyes of panic until she noticed I was reading something online. If you could take a mulligan (do over) for one thing in your life, what would it be?
My life was so simple until about 8 weeks ago and I literally walked through a door (a real door not just a metaphorical one) and I met someone who has now made my life such a mess. Trouble is 10 years ago I had already put the wheels in motion, without knowing it: In 1999 I was happy in my life...- sithompson
