Well, tonight a friend of mine came over with his Sennheiser 600 so that I could try it with the Mapletree.  My impressions are as follows about the combo of the Mapletree and the 600: very musical and very soft - maybe a bit too relaxing for me.  I believe that I could listen to this combo...

  I am really pretty new to the headphone hobby, so I am trying to educate myself as much as I can. A friend of mine gave me a Mapletree amp while he is away for a year in Asia. Is there a particular brand of headphones that will mazimize synergy  with this tube amp.

Sorry for this question - I'm really new to this. I have seen threads that describe "over the ear" when discussing IEMs. What does that mean? I thought that the plugs go in the ear canal.

Question for the experts - of which I am not! I purchased these IEMs and received them today. I know that they are very highly reviewed but I am finding that they are extremely lacking in bass. Is this a common comment about these? Am I missing something?

Pardon my extreme noob question but most of my music is stored in FLAC. Would I be able to download to the S745 some how? If yes, what would I do?
