I am taking the plunge and will be ordering the Head-Direct RE0 or RE1.
Also, being a noobie - I see that the RE0 and the RE1 are both priced at $79. Which model is better?

I need a small portable amp to go with it that will do the IEMs justice.
I will be using the amp when I travel so it needs to be compact but I don't want to throw money away.
Models I have been looking at are:
Minibox-D and the lower priced models of Ibasso (not sure which model would mate best)
I would aprreciate some advice from the experts on the forum.

go for the RE0..that was their previous top model until the RE252 came along

an amp isnt necessary but does make them better. im guessing ur range for amps is ~100? People have been praising the ibasso T3 lately but I don't have experience with that so maybe someone who has can comment on that.

however with an amp you should also look to buy a line out dock(depending on ur player) or a mini to mini if you do not already have one.
